This policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit this website, send us an enquiry or request a quote. It applies to this website only.
Who is responsible
The data controller is TALOS General Construction Ltd., 3 Belmeken str., 1618 Sofia, Bulgaria. For anything about your personal data, write to info@talosgc.com.
What we collect
Contact form: your name, email address and message, plus your company, phone number, country and service of interest if you provide them.
Quote request form: your name, company, country, industry sector, email address, phone number, the services you are interested in and your project description, together with any photos, drawings or other files you attach.
Technical data: when you submit a form we record your IP address, the time of submission and basic browser information, to protect the forms against spam and abuse. Like most websites, our server also keeps standard access logs.
Please do not include sensitive personal data in your messages or attachments. If photos show identifiable people, make sure you are allowed to share them.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a proposal, at your request and as a step before a possible contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To run and protect the website, including preventing spam and abuse, which is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
- To meet legal obligations, such as keeping records required by law (Article 6(1)(c)).
We do not sell personal data, we do not use it for advertising and we do not make automated decisions about you.
Who receives it
Your details are read by the TALOS GC staff who handle your request. We also use service providers that process data on our behalf, such as our website hosting, maintenance and email providers. We may disclose data if the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.
Transfers outside the EEA
We operate regional offices outside the European Economic Area, in Albania and Zimbabwe. If your request concerns one of these regions, it may be shared with the responsible office. When data leaves the EEA, we rely on a safeguard recognised by the GDPR, or on the transfer being necessary to handle your request.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and attached files for as long as needed to handle your request and any business relationship that follows, and for as long as the law requires or as needed to establish or defend legal claims. After that we delete them.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to give you access to your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use or transfer it to you. You can also object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Write to info@talosgc.com and we will reply within one month.
You may also complain to a data protection authority. In Bulgaria this is the Commission for Personal Data Protection (cpdp.bg). You can also contact the authority in the EU country where you live or work.
Cookies
This website uses only the cookies it needs to work. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, so no cookie consent is required.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Keeps your visit working, for example showing form messages after you submit | Short session |
| XSRF-TOKEN | Protects the forms against forged requests | Short session |
Third-party services
Some pages load content from other providers, which receive your IP address as part of the connection:
- Google Fonts supplies the website's typefaces.
- cdnjs (Cloudflare) supplies the map software on the Global Presence page.
If you choose to contact us on WhatsApp, or follow a link to another website, that service's own privacy policy applies.
Security
The website uses encrypted connections. Files you attach are kept outside the public part of the website and cannot be opened from a web address. No system is completely secure, so please avoid sending information that is highly confidential through the forms.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
